Greetings from London!
It feels good to be back. I arrived last Monday & went straight to the studio.
Today I’m spending quality “computer time” from my sofa at home. I’m excited about 2013, & specially excited for Spring! I will say is hard to even think or write about Spring clothes when I am watching it snow outside…
I wanted to dedicate a post to a few of my favourite Winter’12 clothes. Little pieces of clothing that I’ve added to my cupboard this season, & have not stopped wearing throughout- my “Items of the Winter Weeks”.
The first on the list is the little black dress (pictured above). I bought it from one of my favourite LBD brands, Sister Jane, to wear to the Vicious Music Awards earlier in December.
This black & white knitted jumper is by Vero Moda. I love the cut, and have been wearing it with shorts & skirts. It is one of my most recent online buys from Asos 🙂
YIN-YANG! I was Christmas gift shopping in Urban Outfitters & found this hat in their “Urban Renewal” section (vintage items of clothing that have been customized with patches & sequins).
This bead-embelished blazer is from H&M. I bought it back in the fall, & have worn it to dinners and nights out throughout the winter.
I have a little bit of an addiction when it comes to coats (and jackets). Specially since I moved to London. This coat was a September purchase from Zara, and I have barely taken it off throughout the winter.
his is the only tartan-anything that I own. I came across them whilst browsing on Asos, & couldn’t resist. I love wearing them with flats, big jumpers & tights.
Another LBD by Sister Jane that I’ve fallen for this winter. I’ve worn it to dinners, family lunches & Silver Linings screening. The cut is simple & cute, and I think the detail on the collar makes it wearable to smart occasions.
These lovelies were a Christmas present from my grandmother. I saw them on a girl when I was Tightspotting for Calzedonia in Central London (click here to see my “Tightspottings” for Calzedonia, then found them in Topshop. They are comfy & easy to wear: they’ve just got back from a weekend in the muddy countryside.
My burger jumper- a vintage jumper decorated with sequins- found at Urban Outfitter’s “Urban Renewal”. I absolutely love it. I bought my little sister Hanna a Unicorn one for Christmas, click here to see a pic 🙂
And last- but not least- my faux black leather pleated skirt by Lashes of London. I like to wear it with shirts & a leather jacket.
