I still remember the first time I visited HoraConfessions.
It was a couple of years ago, when I still hadn’t discovered my passion for fashion photography & videos. It was different to other fashion blogs I’d come across, I loved the videos. It made fashion fun & closer than what I had imagined it to be. I started visiting the blog daily, and started following Laura’s work closely, until we finally met at Madrid Fashion Week.
We stayed in touch ever since, & worked on a couple of projects together before Laura asked if I would like to become a contributor on HoraConfessions. I said yes, without a doubt. To be a part of it, as well as the other contributors, sounded lovely to me! Months passed, and I got more & more nervous as the website was getting finished. Now I am happy the new website has finally been launched!
I discovered Alejandra Catalán’s blog (Catssac) last year, and instantly fell in love with her blog, as well as her style. Alejandra didn’t just get dressed & have her picture taken, she created amazing outfits, used her friends as models, & shot her own editorials. After taking some time to think about it, I asked Alejandra if she would be interested in working together- Alejandra could put the outfits together, & I would take pictures. We connected instantly, and have been working together on projects ever since.
In my section on HoraConfessions, I’ll be posting monthly inspiration videos. This is a space where I will show the world from my perspective. I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I enjoy making them.

Earlier today I was confirmed as Dcode Festival’s official blogger!
Last year’s first edition of the festival was amazing, I was there with Mtv. Foster the People, Kasabian, The Hives, My Chemical Romance, The Tings Tings, Band of Horses & The Vaccines were some of the bands playing at the first edition of this festival (June’11).
A few weeks ago I was approached by the Dcode team to participate more actively on round two of the festival, & I didn’t hesitate to say yes.
This year’s Dcode fest is taking place on the 14th & 15th of September at the Complutense University Campus (Madrid). Bands like The Killers, Sigur Ros, Justice, Kimbra, The Kooks, Kings of Convenience will be taking over the stage for a perfect end of summer festival.
My role in this festival will be to bring you the latest news, interviews with the artists & bands, as well as fun footage from the festival. There will also be a chance for you to win tickets- and if you are still not convinced- you can click here to see what I got up to at last year’s Dcode :)
For more info on the festival & line-up, visit Dcodefest.com.

My suitcase bailed on me last month.
I landed in Manchester airport & stood by the designated luggage conveyor belt for about half an hour before I realized my suitcase was not going to make an appearance anytime soon.
Laura started HoraConfessions in 2009, when she was modelling in Tokyo, Japan. Laura combined her Fashion Marketing & Communication studies at Instituto Europeo di Design (Barcelona) with modelling before she started working as a presenter for MTV Spain in 2010. Since then, she is a frequent collaborator for Harper's Bazaar Spain & has begun to work on her own music project.
